Practical Information

The Sabucedo Rapa das Bestas has specific plans to try to facilitate the organisation of the visit to the Rapa.

Interest Places

Where to Park and Camping

Sabucedo is located in the municipality of A Estrada, 37 km from Pontevedra and 42 km from Santiago. During the Rapa, a traffic plan is implemented with access to the village closed to unauthorized vehicles starting on Friday. The Rapa das Bestas Association sets up free parking areas, and private paid lots are also available. It is advisable to follow the instructions of the Civil Guard and volunteers for parking.

The Rapa Association provides free camping areas in a setting of centuries-old oak trees, with showers and bathrooms available. You can also find accommodation options in A Estrada and its surrounding areas.

Visitors are asked to respect the environment, not make fires, and dispose of trash in the designated bins. Additionally, it is always advisable to follow the organizers’ instructions.

Tips and Recommendations

To fully enjoy the experience, it is recommended to wear durable clothing (pants, trekking boots) to protect yourself from vegetation, as well as sunscreen and waterproof clothing depending on the weather forecast.

It is essential to bring food and drink, particularly on Friday, as there are no shops or restaurants in O Peón, and the bar only accepts cash, no credit card.
